Necessity of revitalizing Printing Industry

Printing has gone through a major transformation and it is visible how the old mechanical presses are replaced by the new digitized versions. Until we work on these equipments we really don’t understand the real importance and capabilities of this mechanism. Similar, is of printers and their techniques, presses like offset digital press are great at printing quality images in larger quantities from faceplates to various hard surfaces like rubber blanket.

If you visit one of the gatherings of printing industry you will get to know wide application of this small mechanism. Weather it is packaged food, Brouchers, QR codes or indicating signs on subway they are the live examples which demonstrate the various printing techniques used on them like flexography, 2D barcode or adhesive vinyl printing respectively.

Printers are everywhere from your favorite pizza ordered from a well known fast food chain, collection of your CDs and DVDs, Advertisements to study books. There presence cannot be denied.

There are some people who believe that printers are slowly loosing its importance by the increase of usage of digital medium. But if you look at the other side of the coin, you will understand that printers are not dying but they are becoming more and more volatile and functional changing their role communicating medium with the present digital medium and online available options like Brochure printing online. They have completely evolved now as a new medium to communicate with others. Office documentation has become much simpler; information can be easily documented.

Although we should agree that the printing industry has now grown up and needs some more transformation with the age of kindle and iphones. Everyone is affected by such changes, even we as human beings can't do things at the age of 30 what we were supposed to do at 20, but if we try to put right efforts then we can surely transform the printing industry and once again make it competent with the new digital mediums.
